What a difference a simple web interface makes

In 2011, the Design and Supply Chain at IHS had a lead time of 6-8 weeks for project completion. They were using spreadsheets and emailing updates, or updating via phone calls and in staff meetings. Brian York, Senior Program Manager at IHS, wanted a better solution for his global team.

Brian's requirements:
  1. Keep it Simple. He wanted an interface everyone could use without being intimidated.

One of the biggest measurable effects of implementing Viewpath is Productivity. Prior to using Viewpath, projects were taking 6-8 weeks to complete. After the implementation, lead times went from 6-8 weeks to 4 weeks. That is a 50% reduction in lead time. Yes, 50%.

There is no doubt that Viewpath has more than paid for itself. My teams are coordinated, project completion is on track, and group communication has benefited, enabling us to be more confident in our scheduling commitments.
