Article & Video: Methods of grouping similar projects.
Use this quick and easy method to open sets of projects together:
In the Projects list you can select the check boxes for the projects you wish included in your group. Click the "File" menu and choose "Open Project" to open them simultaneously.
Click on the + icon and choose "Create Group from Active Projects". Assign the group a name and click OK. All projects with an open tab will be included in the project group.
You can create as many groups as you need. To open the groups, click the “+” and select "Open Project Group". Any active projects will be closed if they are not included in the selected group.
From the + menu, you can also quickly open individual projects, create a new project, close all active projects or delete an existing Group.
Project Groups are particularly useful for Time Sheets, Reports and Allocation since these sections pull data from the active projects. Setting up groups is a quick and easy way to open the relevant projects prior to using these functions.
