Task Text is Overlapping

Viewpath Support -

Article: The text on the page is overlapping

You may login to Viewpath and you find that the text on the page is overlapping like this:

Zoom1.gif

NOT TO WORRY!

This is caused when you have the Browser zoom level set to anything other than 100%.

There are two ways to fix this:

  1. Hold down the Ctrl key then type 0. This will restore any browser to a 100% zoom level.

  2. Find the Zoom Controls in the browser settings:

    • Internet Explorer: Click on the View menu (you may have to hit the "Alt" key to make the menus appear), mouse over "Zoom" then choose "100%."

    • Chrome: Click on the Settings icon ChromeSettingsIcon.gif, find "Zoom" then click on either the + or - icon until it reads "100%."

    • Firefox: Click on the View menu (you may have to hit the "Alt" key to make the menus appear), mouse over "Zoom" then choose "Reset."

    • Safari: Click on the View menu (you may have to hit the "Alt" key to make the menus appear), mouse over "Zoom" then choose "Actual Size."

Once the browser zoom is set to 100%, the page should render correctly:

If the problem persists, this most likely is due to a browser caching issue. You can try one of two things:

  1. Hold down the Ctrl key and then hit the F5 key on your keyboard (for a "hard-refresh of the browser).

  2. Clear your Viewpath-related cache by visiting https://app.viewpath.com/reset

The page will display "Before" followed by a string of characters and "After" with nothing following.

Upon the next login, any projects that had previously been displayed in tabs across the top will no longer be open. This is because the browser remembers those settings. Go to the Home>Projects tab, select multiple projects then click on the File menu to open them up again.
