Article: Basics of the My Tasks page
The My Tasks page is a list of tasks assigned to you specifically. If you are assigned tasks on multiple projects, they will be listed here.
This page is your unique schedule and allows you to keep your focus on the things you need to accomplish.
Whenever you update tasks on the My Tasks page (e.g. update the percent complete on a task, add comments or add documents), those changes are immediately reflected on the over-all project plan.
Team Edition users can also add time to their Time Sheet using the Timer icon.
You can also adjust columns and make changes using the Gantt chart just like you would from within a particular project.
