Article: Tracking Costs in Viewpath
Viewpath allows you to track costs in the Task list of your project. The available cost tracking columns are:
- Labor Costs
- Material Costs
- Other Costs
- Total Costs
You can right-click on the column headers and use the "Add Column" function to add any or all of these costing columns.
The Labor Cost is calculated
Material and Other Cost columns allow authorized users to input data. The Total Costs column will automatically calculate the totals. Like the other fields, the totals will also roll-up in thei hierarchy so if you have a parent task with children, the totals of all those children will be displayed at the parent level.
Granting Access to Cost Tracking
To be able to view and edit these Cost fields, users must have either Manager or Owner access level.
