Article: Export data to a spreadsheet
To copy specific cells: To export to a .csv file, open the project, highlight the cells in the Task list you wish to copy, then use the keyboard command Ctrl+C (CMD+C for Mac) to copy the data. You can then paste the data into a spreadsheet (e.g. Excel or Google Sheets) using the keyboard command Ctrl+V (CMD+V for Mac) and save that file in a .csv format. This process also works from the Reports section.
To copy all project column data: Click the select-all checkbox in the upper left corner (under the filter icon) and simply type Ctrl+C (CMD+C for Mac) on your keyboard. You can then paste the data into Excel or Numbers using the keyboard command Ctrl+V (CMD+V for Mac) and it will paste all data from all possible columns. This is a handy shortcut for gathering all data for your reporting purposes.
